What is Reputoo and how does it work?

Reputoo is a WhatsApp marketing and reputation platform for Indian businesses. Connect your WhatsApp Business Account (via Meta's official API), upload your customer contacts, and send campaigns, sequences, and review requests — all from one dashboard.

Do I need a WhatsApp Business API account?

Yes. Reputoo uses Meta's official WhatsApp Business API (WABA), which gives you verified business messaging, message templates, and broadcast capabilities. We guide you through the full WABA setup during onboarding — it typically takes 15 minutes to connect.

How do I get started with Reputoo?

Sign up and our team will onboard you — we guide you through WhatsApp Business API setup, Meta verification, and your first campaign. Most businesses are live within 24 hours.

What is the difference between a broadcast and a sequence?

A broadcast is a one-time message sent to a list of contacts — perfect for promotions, announcements, or flash sales. A Smart Sequence is an automated multi-step workflow triggered by an event (purchase, signup, appointment) that sends messages over time. Sequences are ideal for onboarding, review collection, and re-engagement.

Do my customers need to opt in before I can message them?

Yes. WhatsApp's policy and data protection laws require explicit opt-in consent before sending marketing messages. You collect this consent yourself (web form, POS, in-app checkbox). Reputoo provides opt-in widgets to help. Messaging without consent may result in account suspension.

What are message templates and do I need approval?

Templates are pre-approved message formats required by Meta for outbound WhatsApp messages. Templates must be approved by Meta before use — typically within a few hours. Reputoo has a built-in Template Manager to create, submit, and track approval directly from the dashboard.

How does the review collection feature work?

Connect your Google Business Profile and set up a Review Sequence. When a customer completes a purchase or visit, Reputoo automatically sends a WhatsApp message with a direct link to leave a Google review. Customers see an average 10—15× increase in monthly review volume vs email-only requests.

Can I filter who receives a review request?

Yes. Reputoo's Sentiment Filter first sends a quick satisfaction question. Only customers who respond positively receive the Google review link. This protects your rating from unhappy customers and improves overall review quality.

Pricing & Billing

How is Reputoo priced?

Monthly and annual subscription plans based on contacts and messages. All plans include core features. Annual plans are up to 30% cheaper. See our Pricing page for current rates. WhatsApp also charges per-conversation fees (charged by Meta, not Reputoo).

Are there additional charges from WhatsApp/Meta?

Yes. Meta charges per-conversation fees for WhatsApp Business API messages, separate from your Reputoo subscription. These vary by message category (marketing, utility, authentication) and recipient country. Reputoo passes these through with zero markup.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes — cancel anytime with one click from your dashboard. No lock-in, no cancellation fees.

What integrations does Reputoo support?

Google Business Profile, Meta WhatsApp Business API, Shopify, WooCommerce, Razorpay, Cashfree, Stripe, Zapier, and webhooks. Our API allows you to trigger messages and sequences from any custom system.

Security & Privacy

Is my customer data safe with Reputoo?

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Hosted on SOC 2 Type II compliant infrastructure. We never sell or share your data with third parties. You remain the data controller; Reputoo acts as your data processor.

Is Reputoo GDPR compliant?

Yes. We comply with GDPR for EU/EEA customers, India's Information Technology Act, and other applicable data protection laws. You can request data deletion or export anytime by emailing privacy@reputoo.com.
